Limited edition pastry of the day! We call this one a "Galette des Princes", as opposed to the "Galette des Rois", as a diminutive version of the ubiquitous French cake celebrating Epiphany. Available typically in bakeries throughout the month of January, it is two layers of butter puff pastry enclosing an almond cream, or frangipane, inside. This one is sized for individual enjoyment😋
